Grant Opportunities

The Foundation for Riverdale Unified Schools awards grants to enrich the curriculum goals of Riverdale Unified School District. The goals of the grant process are to create new and innovative ways to enhance educational programs for students and staff.

The applications are reviewed by the Grant Committee and then voted on by the board during a regularly scheduled board meeting.  The Foundation awards numerous grants every year, largely funded by our Foundation, Founding Funders, and other fundraising events.

The foundation for Riverdale schools is currently offering the following grant opportunities:

The Classroom Educational grants are reviewed once per year. For the current academic year, the Foundation will allocate $10,000 to educational grants. These grants will be used to support the District’s overall educational goals.

The School Site grants are reviewed once per year.  For the current academic year, the Foundation will allocate $10,000 for school site grants.  The Foundation will provide these grants to support the District’s goals for the academic year.

The Program grants are reviewed once per year. For the current academic year, the Foundation will allocate $10,000 for enhancement of the overall educational programs for the students and staff of Riverdale Unified School District through expanded funding opportunities for academics, athletics, agriculture, and the arts.
